Handcrafted Art from Natural Fibers, Mixed Metal and Local Reclaimed Wood!

These are my new favorite beads. I have been trying to reconcile my love of working with soft, fluffy fleece and yarn with my love of hammering and forming mixed metals. Tangles are it! The metal wire is twisted around in a way similar to making a beehive, cocoon, or corespun yarn. The results are lovely! So please check out my Tangles Collection!

Life is too short to only wear commercial jewelry! Our jewelry is handmade from the ear wires to the jump rings! Most of the beads are reclaimed or recycled from other jewelry. The jewelry features copper and brass that has been textured, fold formed, etched, or hand forged. Each piece is original.
It all started with… My grandmother’s great wheel. It sat in her den. We were not allowed to touch it…but we did when no one was around. I was always intrigued with the fact that yarn and thread used to be made by hand. It is all about the feel of the fiber, the beautiful colors, and the rhythm of the wheel. It is a very “zen” process. Each skein is created with love.
Wadmalaw Weaving is the first of several shops to branch off of the main Pluff Mudd Farm store. Here, we sell woven jewelry and accessories made from our handspun yarn!
